Great for converted 12v 8n
Works great in my converted 8n. Just note that this is not directly related to the ignition. If you're going from a 6v system to a 12v system: it connects the battery mounted ballast resistor, connecting directly to the ignition switch will kill it. From 12V the system still uses the 6V coil (this is the setup I changed from): If you used your original 6V coil in a 12V system with a second resistor, you no longer need the additional resistance. get rid of it Connect the coil directly to the ballast resistor.
