It wasn't easy to install. All instructions are there. However, it lacks a very important security for remote launch, among other minor ones. There should have been a hood release cable, because when you're working under the hood there isn't one. This is a big security issue, I had to use a relay to add it. There are two "parking light" wires when they shouldn't be. There is only one ignition wire, for the second I had to use a relay. The remote control stops working from time to time when you have to take out the battery and wait a few seconds then put it back in and then wait for the restart. I hope you're not in a hurry. Also, it's bad because when it freezes, it's in the locked position by default. So if you forgot to lock your car and look at the ambidextrous remote, it looks like you did. I bought this alarm clock at the risk of being a trinket or a bust, but I'll spare you the trouble and say it's a complete bust.
