If you've ever used one of those wooden bead/ball seat covers you know they would come loose over time. The problem is that the balls are connected to what looks like heavy fishing line. They get knotted every now and then, but eventually the nylon will start to slip off. Once that happens, it's time to throw all the lost balls in the trash can. So this one is worse than "the others"? Not in that respect - no better, no worse. GOOD It's a little wider than most you'll find, so if your butt is a few sizes bigger, no problem. In fact, ignore any reviews that complain that this doesn't cover the entire car seat - THIS IS NOT DESIGNED. This "cover" of the ball seat is used for ventilation. This is NOT an upholstery cover. This type of case becomes very comfortable as soon as you start using it. THE BAD Bad isn't so bad - the nylon knots will loosen over time. So life is. They all do. After all, it's longer than average and slightly wider than average. That's why I chose this one, I know what I want.
