A few months ago I received a 13" Macbook Pro 2020 with an M1 chip. I really liked my computer but wanted to connect it to a second monitor that I use with my Imac. I needed an adapter and it's perfect! Got it today and hooked up the displayport that used to connect directly to my iMac from my HP monitor to the adapter and connected it to my laptop Immediate success Now I have two screens to work on the design It is fantastic and just what I needed Super impressed with the quality for the price Good ends for connecting to laptop and displayport - very tight connection which feels safe and secure I think it will break easily so should keep it long my plan is to only use it at home when i need a monitor so it says connect it to the monitor then plug or unplug it to the laptop I'm beg masters and recommend!
