avoid it It's a nuisance because it's only a mini HDMI and damn it I don't have a display. Neither Mac nor Windows nor PlayStation or Switch could get an on-screen response. The screen turns on, writes "no input" and then turns off. I miss the good old days when screens just accepted whatever you gave them and did nothing but wait for a signal. USB-C wasn't great for video either, and I may have gotten a "lemon" from the product. but I won't waste my time trying another if I can find one that accepts REGULAR HDMI or DP or Mini-DP, pretty much any general purpose input that doesn't require another adapter (adding a mediator to get lopsided to go) or look for obscure cables that are almost proprietary because they are so rare.
