Good cheap masking tape.
If you use a lot of masking tape for short-term projects, this tape is fine. The bun I have has a lingering odor so I would suggest that might be the case. for you if you are using this tape for something valuable or for a long term project. Also, I had no issues with the stickiness or the ease of tearing the tape off the roll.
