Review on 🧶 Herrschners Susan Bates Digital Row Counter: The Ultimate Knitting Accessory for Accurate Stitch Tracking by Karla Richter

I really want to love this product but there are some improvements that can easily be made to make it much better. My plus is that it's simple and works well. I had no problem zooming it out if I wasn't touching the button. I also like that the display turns off when left unattended for a long time. However, don't use the reset button to wake him up again! Now for my cons. Firstly, I really liked the pink color in the photo. I figured the light color would make it easily recognizable in my very full, messy annual bag. Unfortunately, my dreams of not losing this tool in my yarn were not destined to come true. Mine came in a lighter silver color that goes with almost everything. I've had to dig in the bad on a number of occasions in search of this counter. Second, the very large "Susan Bates" text at the bottom of the counter is not displayed. The text is very large and faces the user when the counter is placed on the back of the finger (like mine). The next question I have is related to the group. I'm not sure why plastic was used for this. Hot, sweaty and uncomfortable. I plan on replacing the strap on mine with an elastic ring. Finally, I think this product could be greatly improved with a simple hard plastic lid on the front that snaps in and pops off when you want to toss it in your bag. We do that with the trail, so when not in use we toss it in the bag and the incrementer runs. I would be willing to pay more if there was just a simple snap on lid. All in all it's a good, simple and cheap product but I will be making changes to mine to make it better and if I can make those changes the company should be able to be very cheap.
