All my cars have K&N air filters (also cabin filters). "These are reusable performance filters. They consist of cotton fabric impregnated with special oil. The cotton lets a lot more air through, which improves performance, while the oil traps all the dirt. just flush, re-oil and reinstall. No mess and your filter will last a lifetime." I couldn't put it better, all I can tell you is that the performance of my cars is amazing. Ouch! I've put them in the dishwasher / air dried / re-oiled them /reinstalled lol. It doesn't get any easier than that. I haven't even broken a nail. Love it!
