I ignored the warnings on this thermometer and learned my lesson. The thermometer worked well and was easy to read and calibrate. But after only two months he stopped working. It just turned off and I can't turn it back on. I even changed the battery. My last use was from the grill. The sun shone directly on my sheet and thus on my thermometer. I noticed it was very warm when I picked it up to check the meat. The problem is probably related to something inside overheating and melting. Too bad the strong sun can cause such damage. I come to the conclusion that the thermometer is not made of durable products.
