I bought ice skates as a gift for a child. They love them and that's the best part about the skates and also the reason I couldn't return them. This is their first pair of skates, so little do they know skates aren't meant to flex the way they are. I bought the ones they chose but cringe while skating for fear they will fall apart. I wish I had read more reviews and invested a little more. 😕 But the skates work and the person is happy. Also, the skates I bought are a size 11. Not sure if the smaller size would make a difference.
