This strap's width, length, and retractable features are great for many reasons! Retractable mechanisms are easy to operate - pull the web to the desired length and start rotating until it stops, or as the manufacturer claims. Handle/lever too small, no lever. To tighten the straps, you must use a ratchet-type pry bar. Example: Securing the SXS while being towed idle in the toy truck garage, with the tires on the dovetail, you cannot grab the handle/lever far enough to properly and securely secure the SXS with the ratchet. Point --> so that it doesn't swing back and forth. If you use the crowbar as a lever for a ratchet, you can easily tighten it. Just know how long the arm/lever will last with the crowbar.
