Quiet pump and cools my little Chevy 350 much better than the stock unit. Even when idle, this device circulates well, and the adage "you get what you pay for” applies here. My engine isn't that stock either, it's bored out to 383 with a high compression ratio and around 450hp and this pump is very good insurance for your engine. The workmanship is also good and the installation was easy enough. You will need 1/2 NPT fittings to cover the top and a port on the side when not in use. It comes with gaskets and is lightweight so it's not that difficult to handle during installation.
