I'm an average 20 year old guy who watches a lot of cooking shows while cooking in my kitchen. I admittedly didn't have any decent kitchen knives, which is what prompted me to buy this knife. I am very impressed with this knife. I'm not an expert but I know it's very light and sharp. Potato slices with minimal suction (easy to remove, which is a sign of a quality knife, you think?). It's almost liberating as it makes cutting anything much easier than I thought it could be. To be honest, for this price you can take the trouble and try it yourself. For several years I didn't invest a penny in good knives, which severely affected my time and experience in the kitchen. Now I understand it. Unfortunately right now I *really* don't want to use any other knives I have besides this one. But I definitely recommend this one.
