The construction of the brackets themselves seems really solid and their installation is fairly easy. The only issues I had with this product were: (1) One of the protruding bars wasn't 100% straight so I had to use a 1/2" drill instead of the recommended 7/16" to drill holes in my drill shelf. . Either that or drill one of my holes at a slight angle. (2) The included drywall anchors are junk. Some of them broke when I screwed them to the wall. I ended up just using some of the other anchors I had. One thing to note is that you must purchase a piece of wood or shelf that is at least 1 inch thick, otherwise you may be able to see the bracket part on the wall at one point. They put the shelf on the bars. It's also really helpful to use a drill instead of a hand drill to make sure your holes are straight. If you make even a small mistake with a 7/16 bit, the shelf won't slide all the way through.
