I could list 20 things I love about them but everyone else touched them. Therefore, I will dwell on the only negative aspect - eye pads. They are designed to be rotated counter-clockwise to expand for normal use. But when they are extended, they are very easy to clip on and remove from the binoculars. Once they start to loosen, you'll have to gently tuck their rubber lip into the case to snap them back into place. This happens quite often when you catch them on your shirt or even your pant leg swinging your arms. This also happens when the protective caps are removed! If you don't remove them carefully, pull the eyecups up and down. It's frustrating to always have to be very careful when using binoculars that are advertised as being well protected and resistant to abuse.
