As if the bottle is upside down. There's no point pouring from a bottle this shape (but I thought it would be ok based on other reviews). You have to wait and wait for the oil to pour out and then suddenly, splash!, it pours a lot. After you put it back on the table/cabinet, it leaks. Due to its curvature, it flows straight. Oil can mess up so many things so a leak is the last thing I want. It was also riddled with scratches all over (another reviewer took a picture of it, they had the same issue). Like the color hadn't come out and there was a black "dotted line" all the way around. For this reason I sent it back as defective.
