I always seasoned it with olive oil for cooking. I keep it next to the stove so I can easily grab it and add a good drizzle of olive oil to the pan to cook it all up. The drop drips off to the side and lands on your counter. It doesn't have that at all. The top seals it well when not in use and doesn't drip. It's also easy to fill. This EVOO bottle is beautiful. It sits on my counter and always gets compliments. It fills easily, the cork is snug but not so tight that you have to remove it, you need tongs, and it pours well. But it's hard to just throw OO at something. And this is the problem. I had one but felt like I wanted something new and as I have a lot of great RR products I figured this one would do the same. This bottle is suitable for filling. It drips terribly. My bottle does not leak at the spout or any cracks.
