I work in a car repair shop, I bought it a month ago and have used it several times. Replaces Milwaukee M18 drill bit. I have other cordless 12V IR tools that use the same battery. At a current price of less than $100 for this kit, which includes a drill, charger, and two batteries, it's cheaper than buying two batteries separately. This IR drill is smaller but works well. PROS: The smaller size allows you to get into tighter spaces with enough power to get the job done. I managed to drill out broken exhaust manifold bolts on a Dodge truck by jacking up the engine. CONS - the chuck doesn't open enough for large regular drill bits (1/2") - haven't measured but I would say 3/8" might be the largest it opens. Of course you can get bits with a reduced shank if necessary.
