Excellent luggage net for 2006 Acura MDX Touring

Excellent luggage net (net) for 2006 Acura MDX Touring. It is reasonably priced and perfect for use with existing MDX connection points without using additional adhesive or screw hooks that would alter the original vehicle interior. Please note that the following narration ignores the recommended hammock-style setup, as that is the easier option in my case. Two hands are required to load the hammock. In my installation, the TOP grid connection points are attached directly to the existing MDX hooks on both sides of the vehicle. I added two small S shaped hooks to connect the bottom of the mesh connection points to the existing rings on the floor. Note that the existing MDX connection points for the top of the network are near the tailgate, while the bottom is about 10 inches from the tailgate. Therefore the net is NOT vertical in the vehicle. In use, this is generally not a problem for items like grocery bags, but can potentially allow very short items (an inch or two tall) to slip underneath. One way to minimize the problem is to shorten the bottom of the mesh by threading the mesh connecting rings through the MDX rings and back again to add some tension. The second, perhaps best, option is to thread a piece of string from side to side at the very bottom of the net, then attach the rope to the same connection points as the net. The rope does not stretch, reducing the likelihood of something slipping under the net. When the mesh isn't needed, I just untie the top ties and leave the mesh on the floor, still connected at the bottom, or untie it completely and place it inside the mesh. rear compartment where the headrests are stored.
