I see a lot of people wanting to use this for the melee boss. Out of the box, the mask sits perfectly on the tip of the axe, but the strap is too short to attach the clasp. I took some Obenauf's Beeswax Leather Preservative Heavy Duty and applied it to the leather. Then I sheathed the ax and soaked it in a bucket of warm water for about half an hour. Then I took the strap and was able to tighten and snap it into place. I put it back in the water for another half hour. I removed it and let it dry and then reapplied on top. After a few days everything is dry and works great. The belt is not tight and has some play. There is discoloration around the clasps, which is what I expected. I only started using the mask a week ago but so far I like it.
