I really like these displays so much that I connect them to almost everything I build and not just Pis, they work on Intel based SBC up boards too. I have 10 of them working on different things. They can be operated in addition to and independently of the HDMI output, which makes them very useful and cool. If you want a regular keyboard, mouse, and monitor, you can get those but still have that little display as a status screen or clock or whatever is controlled independently by another input device or by touch. Incidentally, this is done with "sitting". This is a very good product, however there are a few minor flaws; I want the 2x13 GPIO expansion connector on the bottom of the board to be a right angle connector, as the straight connector doesn't provide enough clearance for the typical DuPont jumpers between that connector and the underlying Pi board on the top board that has a significant heatsink on the motherboard, it means you need to completely remove the header. I also want the main 2x20 GPIO header to be short and extend to just the right height above the USB/network headers with the included extension cable. This, like 2x13, is a surface mount header so it's not that easy to change, and using more than one HAT on the Pi will cause the display to stack up quite large, much higher than necessary. Finally, the touchpad uses kernel overlays to make it work, meaning the product is less portable and adaptable to other non-Pi platforms than it could be. However, these are minor issues and things that may affect my personal use of the product, but I don't think they adversely affect the intended use of the products so it would be unfair to deduct stars because of this. The product is very well made, but I also want to note that buyers should be aware of some fragility, some batches have a very strong and sticky double-sided tape that attaches the plate to the board, and other batches have a rather weak one Duct tape will give up if the Pi gets a little warm underneath. , and the display is separated from the circuit board. To move the board a bit to center it in the case, I prefer those with weak tape, those with tape that are difficult to remove without damaging the display and require a thorough cleaning afterwards to break the sticky adhesive remove. I couldn't desolder the 2x13 connectors on the required boards without delaminating the pads, maybe with my skill and tools, but in my experience the pads delaminated before the solder melted. I have to say, even when the pads peeled off, the boards worked perfectly.
