After using a modified Xantrex 1500w sine wave inverter for non-essential duty + occasional microwave (900w) for the last 5 years it eventually died so I replaced it Through this. After carefully reading the reviews, I decided that this device probably works well, but the power cord that comes with it isn't big enough. I installed 2 12" 4 gauge lines connected to a distribution block powered by a 1000W (60A) Victron MPPT 150/60 solar system + 200Ah Lipo + 400Ah 6V (2) deep cells connected to a Victron Cyrix-CT combiner. This system is capable of handling an over 200Ah surge but no matter what I couldn't get my microwave to work with this inverter. Works great on an 800w coffee maker + TV but over voltage it is failed. Worth it but should be rated closer to 1000 watts with limited or very short shock endurance.
