We bought this as my 16 year old girl's first record player and she was happy with it. However, many records started skipping, and when we played them on other players, they didn't skip. Do not play expensive or special discs on this player, otherwise they will be damaged. The reviews looked good but it didn't live up to the quality. You get what you pay for.
