Review on StarTech Com Rack Enclosure Server Cabinet by Edwin Cen
Good but not quiet or soundproof
I bought the 'soundproof' 12U version which seems to be well built and has a nice finish. However, I didn't succeed. A computer with RAID cards and hard drives that I wanted to mute produces about 40dB. Three fans in a StarTech case generate about 50 dB of noise. This. If your device is not very loud, this "noise reduction" option will not help you.
