I installed this on my 2008 Silverado. The original block was removed during another repair by the dealer. After driving my spare part in the back of my truck for 2 years I decided to fix the problem. The Chevy dealer appraised the car at $150. Working pulse $260 per part. I am 68 years old. and greatly outweighed, but I climbed under the truck. Spray the screw three times with penetrating grease. Loosen the mounting screw with an electric impact wrench. So I ordered a replacement part. installed in about 10 minutes. Then I installed the replacement part. I think I saved about $300.
