I needed a combination modem router with the latest technologies DOCSIS 3.1 and Wi-Fi 6. NIGHTHAWK CAX80 met the technical requirements. Installing the CAX80 wasn't as easy as advertised. I couldn't "self-activate" myself over the internet. The Nighthawk smartphone app can be used to set up Wi-Fi but not set up tethering. My cable company is Spectrum. I've had my internet account with them (including their predecessors Time-Warner and RoadRunner) for over 20 years. Your customer service is excellent - once you get a live person. They ran diagnostics, they said the modem is working. However, I could not connect to the internet. I received a direct Netgear number and called for help. Within minutes my modem router was working perfectly. You are amazingly competent. The Wi-Fi signal is stronger and more stable with no fluctuations than my old router modem. No pauses and buffering when watching streaming video. Netgear ads are accurate and reliable. Just like the performance. I am very satisfied and can only recommend this router.
