Review on Set of Three Adult Coloring Books: Sky, Land, and Sea Designs for Relaxation by Carol Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Thick pages and variety of designs and complexity

Mixed designs in each book - I love all three. Structures are both large and small. I wouldn't say they're tiny and take weeks to complete, but they're detailed enough to take time. What really pleased me was the texture of the pages. It's actually light cardboard. It has enough texture to be used with pastels or colored pencils and thick enough to use a marker. I haven't used watercolor pencils or watercolors so I can't comment on what this medium is capable of. It is not structured like multimedia paper. I didn't try to remove the pages but my books didn't have metal rings inside as shown in some drawings for the flat layout. This is regular glue. I didn't notice the perforation, but my eyes don't see the perforated tear line very well unless I actually feel it. This is my first purchase of books from this company and I am very happy with the purchase. I bought it on sale so I didn't pay full price for it. I think the set shouldn't cost more than $9.99 since together they're almost the size of one of the most famous multimedia paper coloring books. These books are 20 pages thicker, have more color options, have fold-out pictures, can even tell a story or contain hidden objects, and are almost as expensive as these three skinny books. 20 different kinds of coloring books and the price is high for me. I have a feeling they could offer less. You won't be disappointed with the quality. But if you like coloring calm people, you will understand what I mean when they come.
