I'm sad to say that I did not get to use this brush for very long before it was appropriated by my granddaughter who liked it much better than the boar bristle brush she had been using. She said it brushed her hair better (which is long and straight) making it smoother. She liked the size of the brush area because it brushed more hair. I did get to keep the comb, which is cute and great for parting hair. I have thick course curly hair, and for the short time I had the brush, I liked how it smoothed out my hair releasing the tangles.
