NOT 18000 LUMEN BUT VERY BRIGHT.
As someone said it could be 1800 or 2000 lumens. That said, it's still an extremely bright light for the money. I bought this at the last minute before traveling hoping it would work. I was impressed and had no problems diving all week. The maximum depth is about 90 feet, no problem. It drains batteries when used at high frequencies, so buy quality batteries, not the ones on Amazon. Just bought another one for my next trip.
