Review on πŸ”₯ Wood Grill Go Garden Grill-Master 83: The Ultimate Outdoor Cooking Experience in 108x60x115 cm by Barbara Ratyska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, not disappointed.

As a result, the impressions of the purchase are twofold and I can not unequivocally recommend this grill. On the one hand, the thing is definitely not for centuries - the metal is very thin - it will burn out and / or rust. Store on the street - is contraindicated for the same reason. I took it blindly via the Internet (for quarantine) and fell for the large declared weight - 27kg - but in fact this is not enough for this size. Most likely, having the opportunity to feel this grill live, I would refuse to buy it, because. I like more monumental and reliable things. But, having experienced disappointment during unpacking, I can’t say that in the end I was dissatisfied. I really liked the grill in use, despite the fact that I do not have much experience in using such things and many functions still need to be mastered. Adjusting the heat by changing the height of the coals simply by turning the knob is great. Due to the size of the grill, you can cook meat and vegetables at the same time. You can separate cooking zones by temperature by moving the coals to one side of the tray, while adjusting the airflow inside the grill with flaps. Well, my fears about the small thickness of the metal so far in fact remain only fears - the main effect of temperature is on the coal pan, protected by enamel, and the thick steel grate, which have already survived several cooking without visible consequences. Well, if the pallet burns out, I will make a replacement from thicker steel. There is a decent gap between the charcoal pan and the walls, so the walls and the lid heat up much weaker - the operating temperature of the grill is only around 250 degrees - even for thin metal this is not much, but on the walls it is even lower - this is not a brazier. In total - if you want to play with the professional functions of a large grill - there is still no alternative for this money - and the quality of budget grills even from eminent manufacturers does not shine - Weber offers some thin enameled basins on flimsy legs for the same money. And for analogues made of thick metal they ask several times more.

Pros
  • Price) Convenient assembly - assembled as a designer - all holes are in place, fasteners are in a convenient blister with markings, there were no problems during assembly. Sophisticated and functional design - adjustable blower from 4 sides, convenient height adjustment of the tray with coals, retractable ash pan, convenient additional grill, convenient and durable folding table on the side, hooks for utensils and even a bottle opener - a trifle, but nice. Stable - despite the rather thin metal, due to the large size and massive design of 27 kg, the grill stands very confidently, unlike all these moon rover bowls with thin legs. A massive steel grate in two parts - it is convenient to put coal by removing or moving one half. You can also report coal through the door. Thermometer. The grill is large - this is both a plus and a minus - you can cook immediately for a large company, but for normal heating of the grill under a closed lid of coal, you need to put about 1.5 kg of coal, otherwise the grill almost does not heat up. Therefore, when cooking small volumes, the consumption of coal will still be high.
Cons
  • Very thin metal. It can be seen that the manufacturer tried to reduce the cost of the design as much as possible: The walls and lid are generally made of thin sheets with a thickness of only 0.6-0.7mm. The coal pan is about 1mm thick and covered with enamel - all hope is only for it, otherwise it will quickly burn out. In fairness - it seems to be painted with high quality - during assembly and after several preparations, the coating is intact everywhere. The manufacturer writes on their website that they have improved the coloring technology. Long warm-up time - fast cooking on such a large grill will not work - after the coals flare up, it takes at least 20 minutes to warm up the grill to operating temperature with the lid closed. Smaller grills heat up faster. As a consequence of the size - a high consumption of coal.

Has pros: I liked everything very much. Some cons: It was hard to assemble, because the assembly instructions were bad.
