I bought this as a second monitor for my desk (dual screen setup) and am using it to complement an old HP monitor with built in audio. This monitor has two major disadvantages: 1. You cannot adjust the height of the screen. So if you want it to be higher (closer to eye level) for ergonomic reasons, you can't do that and have to put it on something instead. All the monitors I've bought in the last 10 years have this setting so I was amazed that this one didn't. 2. The sound is normal even for monitor speakers. I wasn't expecting much, but the sound is even worse than the tinny sound of my HP monitor. In my case I can only use the speakers in the HP monitor but if it was my only monitor it wouldn't work. Picture quality is good - I'm not that picky about picture quality. Again, it looks a bit washed out next to the old HP monitor, but it might just need some additional tweaking. Will I buy this monitor again? no But it's not that bad, I'll get it back. I'm just disappointed with the above. Hope that helps.
