Good starter set. My 2 daughters wanted to play with polymer clay and this set has a nice range of colors to start with. Each pack of polymer paint is smaller than I thought it would be. One daughter wanted to make jewelry and keychains, and my other daughter made animal figures and space monsters. Some polymer clays were dry and crumbly right out of the box. I added some mineral oil to them and let them sit for 24 hours, after which they were ready to use. We baked the crafts in an aluminum pan with a lid in the oven for 30-45 minutes at 230 degrees Fahrenheit. Everything turned out well and I am happy to report that there was no smell when the clay was baked. My girls were happy with the outcome of their projects and I will buy this polymer clay again.
