I was making a mini pi and many found that copper tubing is very easy to accidentally crimp. Needless to say, I needed to cut back and forth and wanted to get the job right the first time, so I started looking through some of these reviews. We all know that some of these reviews are just rubbish, but I promise you this flaring tool works surprisingly well. I'm a mechanic by trade so I use old flare tools. After reading a bit of YouTube and a few reviews I bought this flare tool. To my surprise, this worked really well and it makes sense to have that offset center element. This center piece massages the copper, reducing stress, making it more pliable and less likely to break. I tell you it's amazing to believe when I say. After working with steel pipe, aluminum pipe, copper pipe it's nice to see a product that actually works as described.
