Got this to support a Cisco SG350X-48P that is sagging in the rack. I have other sliding/adjustable shelves that already have rails installed so thought this would be great. All of these rails were bolted together upon arrival and then you have to take them apart, determine the required depth and then through trial and error find the correct expansion/compression distance by choosing different bolt holes. I had to assemble each rail set 5 times before it worked. Sometimes the rail had enough room to slide into the slot but it would hit one of the fixed screws so I had to take the screws out and slide them around. Rather than having through slots for one piece that allows the other two pieces to overlap, which would make more sense, there are segmented slots with stops that prevent protruding more than two inches before the screws are removed and reinstalled have to. in different holes. Then I realized that the rails are completely blocking the fan connectors on the side of the Cisco switch. I ended up turning one of the rails on the fan side upside down. Good thing I had free space downstairs so I could do that. But any 1U device that has an outlet/inlet on the side of the case will block airflow with these rails. I don't want to risk it with a POE server or switch. Would definitely not recommend or buy again.
