Very easy to turn.
I was shocked at the decent sound quality in such a small quirky radio. As soon as I took it out of the box, I turned it with a few cranks and the Am station sounded loud and clear. There was some noise but I moved the antenna a bit and it took care of the noise. FM stations were crystal clear. I would buy this again.
