I bought three of these units for three adult cats of different sizes (9lbs, 12lbs, 18lbs). The three sat comfortably in their vet visit seat and seemed to have more than enough room not to be cramped. when it turned) and the stitching and construction survived the first few short trips to the vet. Not sure about durability yet as I've only used it once and I'm not sure I would recommend this carrier for longer trips than just going to the local vet (for two large cats, maybe one smaller cat?), but so far it has exceeded my expectations. The price was amazing especially for the quality of the product. Unlike others, I didn't notice any strong odor from fabrics or textiles after taking it out of the box and letting it sit for a day or two before using it. a lot of stress from the belt because I could let the bag melt sideways around my thigh while wearing it. I'm very satisfied - just wish it was a different color!
