My first attempt to shorten hydraulic brake lines failed. Due to the lack of this tool, I managed to pinch the needle when trying to force it into a tight line without the proper tools. Which resulted in no fluid flowing through the brakes when pumping. Things went wrong and my patience was at an end. I used my supercharger to force air through the brake lines and yes, I blew the seals on my new $150 Magura MT7. After a fall and a recurring bipolar episode, the dust cleared and my radiance told me to "do it right." So this time I bought the right tools for the job. I bought this and a Jagwire Space Age Pro hose cutter. If you want to try it yourself, I recommend buying these two tools and a professional leveling kit. It's easy with the right tools. Without her. A complete nuisance and all, and for me a $150 class.
