Description of Jagwire Needle Driver 2 0 Fitting

Perfect for the serious mechanic. Allows for easy and gentle insertion of hose fittings. Installing hydraulic hose fittings shouldn't be done using a hammer.

Makes it easier to shorten brake lines.

I bought new Shimano XT brakes for my bike and decided to install them myself. From what I've read the hardest part was getting the metal insert into the brake line after cutting it. This product has made it so easy that it's worth the money.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Quality

A very special tool that makes the job much easier.

This is a very specialized tool that most people won't use very often, but once you use it it's a lot easier than all the other options by pushing a bolt into one brake hose. Holds the brake line nice and then you just use it like a chain tool to push the barb into place. For the price I'm very happy to have it.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • I really don't like anything about it, everything is fine

Works with Magura brakes, solidly built, easy to use.

Installing this Magura MT5e brake and using this needle wrench to install the brake line extensions. Just read the instructions so you don't twist anything. This thing was very easy to use and worked like a champ. The tool is solid and feels high quality. This tool feels almost industrial. If you're the type to do the work yourself, this article will serve you for many years without any problems.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Only available in white

You must cut the hydraulic brake cable and install a new fitting to change from a SRAM Force caliper to one hope caliper. It's a chore in and of itself with pumping etc. But this tool is essential. I made inserting the pin into the end of the cable very smooth and then connected it directly to the caliper. Without an insertion tool, it is difficult to mount the valve straight.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • No performance

Jagwire Needle Screwdriver

Let me start by saying that you don't need this tool to insert a barb into a hydraulic hose. However, using this tool greatly improves the precision and accuracy associated with creating a set of brake lines. This is similar to many tools for my bike. Highly specialized, rarely used, but designed for effectiveness. It's not expensive, and in the long run, buying this tool is a lot cheaper than going to your local bike shop and having your inner tubes changed there.

Pros
  • Easy-to-Read Control Panel
Cons
  • Blank

My first attempt to shorten hydraulic brake lines failed. Due to the lack of this tool, I managed to pinch the needle when trying to force it into a tight line without the proper tools. Which resulted in no fluid flowing through the brakes when pumping. Things went wrong and my patience was at an end. I used my supercharger to force air through the brake lines and yes, I blew the seals on my new $150 Magura MT7. After a fall and a recurring bipolar episode, the dust cleared and my radiance told

Pros
  • Years of probation
Cons
  • Reliability

The perfect workshop tool to save time and improve the quality of your work

Although hair clips can usually be powered without this tool, this tool makes the job much easier and better. If you're just worried about hitting a Shimano or Sram bolt, grab some vises, a plastic tubing block, and a hammer and read no further. However, if you find yourself in a situation where you want to make sure the barb will run straight, hold without leaks, and be done right, this tool is for you. This tool is really designed for shop use and the price reflects that. If you only ever run

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No
