The perfect workshop tool to save time and improve the quality of your work

Although hair clips can usually be powered without this tool, this tool makes the job much easier and better. If you're just worried about hitting a Shimano or Sram bolt, grab some vises, a plastic tubing block, and a hammer and read no further. However, if you find yourself in a situation where you want to make sure the barb will run straight, hold without leaks, and be done right, this tool is for you. This tool is really designed for shop use and the price reflects that. If you only ever run a hose grinder or two, you can probably do without this tool. However, this tool performs several key functions: 1. It inserts the nick straight every time. 2. The tool clamps the hose and moves the barb at the same time, meaning you can use it effectively with two hands instead of juggling tools like you do. when driving with a hose block. This tool allows me to screw in hose burrs faster and more efficiently, knowing the burr won't run out because it goes in crookedly. While not strictly necessary, this tool has become one of my favorite tools because it makes the sometimes tedious job of shortening hoses a very easy task. The tool is well built and although it is plastic I expect it to last for many, many years. In my opinion this tool is worth it if it saves me from even bleeding once or twice. Most stores will charge $25 for bleeding. So if this tool helps you avoid bleeding when you cut line even once, or prevents leaks from a crooked mandrel, it's worth it.
