What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

The decision was made for this model because there was a restricted selection of rubber in my size (and there was no specific urge to change the size). I've had daily operation experience on various surfaces from November to February (about 9,000 km of running on them), therefore I feel ready to write. Hong Kong region operating circumstances. In contrast to Hong Kong time, the region's roads are hardly ever cleaned, with the exception of the main ones, and even then not always. As a result, very favorable conditions are established for tire testing. The pattern is somewhere between "Scandinavian" and "European," or more specifically, the middle of the tread is "Europe," and the sides are "Scandinavian." I'm not sure how it will react on other car models.

Pros
  • The Skoda Kodiaq 2.0 TSI 4x4 215 65 17 103 is where I mounted it. Quiet. Excellent behavior on all surfaces except ice, and while ordinary ice is still quite predictable in the cold and does not create much panic, on wet ice, things are not at all good at 0 degrees and a little higher. Everything is good with the remaining coverings, including porridge, snow, water, dry asphalt, and country roads. In the Hong Kong area, rowing is also typical when navigating snowdrifts to park a car (because we don't clear the yards).
Cons
  • The ice is the weak link, as is to be expected with friction tires. plus wet ice. Everything is perfectly normal when "frosty" is around. ABS rarely activates and only when the brakes are applied vigorously, as when driving through a heavy layer of snow, which is, in my opinion, rather predictable.
