For those in need of music, this is your JAM!

This item is a godsend! I recently had to sell my 2014 Ford Escape which I could sync to my phone for cash, quickly flip and buy a used car for as cheap as possible. This got me into a 2006 Chrysler Sebring convertible. It's certainly fun to drive with the top down in Southern California's June weather, but all it has is an AM/FM radio with a single CD player, but no extras or USB. I'm sure it was top notch for the time but not for my purposes and for some reason the reception wasn't that great. Who listens to the radio? So I started to face the reality of installing a new stereo to sync to, but then I stumbled upon this whole FM transmitter idea thanks to a YouTube video. Anyway, I spent the whole evening in the early hours browsing numerous channels and chose this one as the ratings were good. A guy actually made a video with this thing that really helped and for $18.99 and fast shipping it was worth the risk. . I figured if that doesn't work I'll bring it back and go the stereo route. So glad I did. The package arrived, I opened it and in a few minutes I was already rocking to the tunes on my iPhone! It's really easy to set up and use, although I had to twist the dial to find a frequency that played without background noise. But it really didn't take long before I found a working signal, showed up in Uptown, and hopped toward a Buddy Holly. The coolest thing I've found is that you can make music totally CLOCKY by turning up the volume on your phone, the device itself and your stereo - those are three separate volume levels! I wouldn't turn all three to "11" (for my Spinal Tap friends) because it can get a little clunky and I don't want to fry the unit or my speakers. But I found a volume that works, and that volume was definitely loud, crisp, and clear. I also made an outgoing test call and it worked great - the voice on the other end came through the speakers clearly and I was told I used to sound loud and clear. If I had to list "cons" it would be that it doesn't take long for the magnet to pop out if I hit a good hit while the vent holder stays in the vent (OK, I have to watch park speed a lot). or when trying to use radio buttons to promote music. However, this can easily be fixed over the phone, so no big deal. Also I turned the car off and on again, left the radio on and on the same frequency and unplugged the device from the cigarette lighter (with the device on and reconnected to my phone and with a press of the play button on my phone and I was back on the way.So once again I'm very glad I bought this The cord is a bit long but that's not a problem for me and I'm not one of those people who can fit in the car with an 'arm' That is my review. I highly recommend this product for those of us who drive "old school" and it wasn't written in exchange for a free unit or any type of discount. It's so much for all that convenience in terms of the possibility of being able to play music and talk through the car. Hopefully this helps you in your quest but what are you waiting for BUY IT! Come on I'm waiting. Good luck!
