Review on Living World Pine Shavings 1220 Cubic by Carrie Stolhanske

I bought Living World pine shavings instead of my regular bedding because I ordered food from Revain anyway and needed to meet the minimum. I will probably not order this bedding again. I usually use two packs of these bedding and it fills my 40 gallon tank to my gerbil preferences. This time it would take at least another pack to fill where I usually fill due to the small size of the litter chips. The gerbils quickly dug up the litter on one side so they had their preferred litter depth, so the tank is now empty on one side (so I'd add another pocket if using it). In general, I would not repeat myself for reasons of economy. It's like all other pine shavings, smells the same and seems to retain the scent (although gerbils don't smell initially) as well as my regular brand or any brand I've used in the past. The biggest downside I have is the small size of the chip and it doesn't seem to take up as much space as my regular brand. If the small size of the chip doesn't bother you, it's worth the price, but with two picky gerbils it wasn't worth it for me.
