I was pleasantly surprised by these pliers. I wanted a pair of these to remove the center pins on the plastic standoff rivets that are common on all cars these days. I've had good success using them for their intended purpose, but I have to say the jaws are very thin for effectively pulling the clamps and pins. I think it's important to say that these are not side cutters and should not be used to cut anything. They are designed to pull plastic pins and clips, that's all. I think it's time people stop complaining about "Made in China" as normal tools. Yes, of course, many Chinese-made tools are junk, but some of them are worthy tools for the money you pay and will last a long time if used properly. I've been an auto mechanic for over 40 years and have my fair share of quality tools made in the USA and Europe and I love them. But with such tools, you have to ask yourself how much you pay and what you get. Don't use them as wire cutters and they will last you a long time.
