If you need something to take a RF signal from my cable and convert it to an HDMI out, this box will work. I used it to hook it up to my stereo with an HDMI cable. the only problem was it isn't CEC compliant. So it won't turn the stereo system on or off with just one touch of the power button. It's also a little bit slow in changing the TV channels. But if all you're wanting is to send the TV signal through your stereo, then this box will do the job. I also had trouble figuring out how to record the TV shows that I wanted to watch later.
