I've had this in my hallway for many months now - the busiest spot in my house with two kids, two dogs, a dad with dirty work shoes and the only downside is that he has a heavy duty slip mat underneath, otherwise it can slide. It doesn't work on my hardwood floors with a thin anti-slip mat. Now that I've got it fixed I have to say it's the easiest rug to clean in my house and I have durable rugs - another great but more expensive washable rug. I love this rug. A little soap and water on a washcloth removed all sorts of stains including paint, dirty paws, shoes and black mysterious footprints. I even washed it completely and soaked the outside with a hose when it got dirty with pets and it came out brand new and fresh. It is worth buying this carpet. I just wish I could find it in more flower sizes. Buy a good rubber mat and you won't be disappointed.
