I bought this item for my small camper trailer with 15" tires. The tire size was as specified by the seller. Goods received within 2 days. I inspected the item and found it to be of good quality. I went to where I store my RV and tried to install the item. There I noticed some quirks that others noticed. The latched flap door blocking access to the puff controller is a bit quirky. It's not well made, the pieces don't fit well, and it keeps getting stuck when you try to open it. It's nothing that would make me want to return it. If you just leave the key in after turning, you can open the door with the key. This is a production issue that needs improvement. That was the least of the problems with this device. There is a second regulator on the unit's arm that is fully open to anyone with a plug-in power outlet extension. This will further open the jaws on the plate that fits over the lug nuts. I just don't get it, it increases the security of the item. The item's jaws then have a "U-shaped mandrel" welded to the item's inner jaws. This is a great idea, but in application the length of the "U" reduces the space you have for the test subject's jaws to fit over the tire and wheel. In my case the jaws would not have covered the wheel enough that you could easily end up kicking the item off the tire. Well I spent about an hour getting this thing to work, although I figured I could knock off that welded spike to get the extra length needed for the jaws to grip the wheel. But in the end, with the remaining problems of the topic, I decided to go back to Revain. I was disappointed but chose another similar product with which I had no problems. This element could potentially work for you in your own application, but I don't think you'll know until you try it.
