Review on Tires for cars Hankook Winter i Pike RS2 W429 R16 205/55 91T spike by Wiktor Lipski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

ate in 3 seasons! I really like this rubber! Soft, does not tan, ice and uphill - rows and rides, does not blunt in deep snow, spikes do not fly out, really quiet (compared to other compeors), I do not observe wear ! I was very disappointed that there is no 20th radius ! I wanted to buy this rubber for another car, now I'm g with a choice . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! (before that, there was a pirelli ice zero r16 - a strong solid rubber with excellent handling in any weather, but terribly noisy) Good luck to all

Pros
  • R19 245/45 has already driven about 2200 km (all the spikes are in place) - it is very quiet and soft, climbs easily and without slipping on an icy road uphill at 10-15 degrees. It snows well, it’s hard to break into a skid because it clings well to snow porridge and ice, on dry pavement I didn’t notice that the rubber floats as they wrote in other comments, with my radius and width it stands rooted to the spot even in a rut both in plus and minus temperature, pleasantly slaps at the joints, it seemed to me that my summer Continental works harder at the joints. Went 4 season on these tires! Very satisfied! Spikes do not fly out, rowing in the snow and ice! There were several very dangerous situations on the roads, the tires did not disappoint (emergency braking and collision avoidance)! He was right, the rubber is really soft and quiet (many people write that studded tires cannot be quiet, maybe ! Summer Kama is 3 times noisier! )
Cons
  • 1) An unpleasant sediment remained from the fact that after 1200 km it flew into the hole of the cut piece of asphalt prepared for laying new asphalt - the disc pierced 2 cord threads due to which a hernia came out. Compared to pirelli ice zero, the sidewall is many times softer once flew into such pits and with this rubber for 3 winters nothing happened at all. But maybe it's only my fault and the impact was really stronger than on the pirelli and also the height of the profile on the pirelli 65, which is much more than the 45 on the hankook. 2) It also seemed that the rubber wiggles a little and the braking distance is a little longer than on the same pirelli during emergency braking (keep your distance - you will be safer) ate after 3 years of operation on dry pavement, when braking, a small roll and a longer braking distance (compared to summer tires), but everything is predictable and nothing critical! No more hernias popped up. The one I wrote about was sealed with a patch (now it doesn’t stick out at all)
