I can't stand for more than a few minutes and need a way to sit down while showering. I chose this GreenChief shower stool for its affordable price and claimed ability to support up to 300 pounds. I weigh almost 300 and this chair is very stable when I sit on it. Except for the swivel seat, it is very well made. The seat is a plastic disc that is only attached to the stool in the middle. It's strong and I'm not afraid of it breaking, but it doesn't rotate under weight. To me, this is a very small flaw in a great purchase. Incidentally, the free Grab Bar is impressive. Our shower is lined with faux marble and the suction cups on the grab rails probably let me pull the "marble" slab out of the wall without letting go! It's been sitting in the same place for weeks now and the suction power shows no sign of letting up. Faux marble slabs are very smooth, but a plank should work on any smooth material.
