Literally in 7 minutes. It took so long because I was looking for my flathead screwdriver (spare tools were kept in the hatch compartment). The installation took place on 01/26/21 at 34°, partly sunny weather, on my veranda. The dealer asked $250 and delayed my 2006 lexus rx330 for a few days. My installation didn't necessarily require removing the factory bracket. Just slightly adjust the clips (no need to remove them completely), then slightly snap the clips into place, then the clips. If you watch the video on Revain/YouTube it seems like you are comparing the old block to the new side by side. Make sure they are the same size. Use a wooden peg or rod to hold the hood. Remove the racks, top first, then bottom. Install the new block in the same way (do not remove the clips). Adjust to lock the post, then adjust the lock with your thumb. While holding the hood, remove whatever was used to hold it (wood or pole) and then slowly close the hood. Now open hands free for inspection. Ready!
