Review on KEPEAK Rechargeable LED Tactical Flashlight - 10000 Lumens Super Bright, Waterproof & Zoomable For Camping, Hiking & Emergency by Brandon Guidroz

I'm torn on this - my new review

Let's get a few things out of the way. The case this comes in is incredibly cheap, and basically just has egg crate foam holding the battery, AAA batteries, AAA battery holder, keychain flashlight, USB cable, and the flashlight itself. The case has snaps on it to keep it closed. They're garbage. Also, I'm fairly certain the positive and negative leads to the LED itself will break off if anybody does any kind of twisting of the flashlight. This is because there's nothing really protecting them. I twisted the flashlight to open it in order to install the battery. Unfortunately, what came apart was the top part holding the lens and LED. The threads are terrible, so it took a bit of finagling for them to catch, but by then I had twisted the wires around. I had to twist them up the opposite direction before trying to screw everything back together, floundering about again waiting for the threads to catch, then screwing it back together. The flashlight does feel pretty solid when put together, and it outputs a good amount of light. The lens gives you a fair spread and focus range, and the flashlight also has four blue LEDs above the button to tell you how much battery is left. All the threads feel pretty terrible, so unscrewing any part of this is not a good experience. It's entirely possible that this is necessary in order to make the flashlight water resistant (they use the terms waterproof and water resistant. I'd go with the latter). It does have some gaskets to keep water from getting in. Unfortunately, the rubber protecting the USB ports is fairly flimsy and comes up easily. The belt holster it comes with has a button with velcro around it, so it feels like it would hold closed well. The holster itself doesn't particularly feel to be of high quality. The flashlight has some heft to it and a wrist strap. The wrist strap also feels cheap. Overall, I'd say this could be worthwhile for an emergency, whether at home or in your car's glove compartment. The rechargeable Lithium ion battery is a 26650A. They don't seem terribly uncommon, should this one die or get lost. You can also use AAA batteries, which is nice. Overall, this feels more like a mishmash of stuff thrown in a (cheap) box to help justify the cost of the flashlight. If this sold for less and did away with the keychain, AAA batteries, the box, and the USB cable I think it could be a four star product.
